Creating a favorable investment climate for startup and developing businesses

At the conference, Provincial Party Committee’s Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien acknowledged, praised and warmly congratulated over 500 typical businesses, especially 61 ones honored for their outstanding contributions to the socio-economic development of the province in 2018.

The Party Secretary stressed that enterprises have made important dedications to economic restructuring, labor structure, creating jobs, economic growth, increasing production value and export turnover, budget collection, settlement of social welfare issues,... It has contributed to a clear change in the image of Bac Ninh, from a pure agricultural province to an industrial locality in the modern direction, with many leading socio-economic indicators across the country.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien appreciated the frank and constructive comments of entrepreneurs and businesses. Department of Planning and Investment is assigned to fully synthesize, chair and coordinate with relevant agencies to deal with or advise the competent authorities to resolve proposals.

In the coming time, the Secretary proposed that all levels, sectors, and localities need to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement guidelines and resolutions of the Central Party, the National Assembly, the Government and the province on socio-economic development for the province's political determination under the theme in 2019, "Bac Ninh acts for the clean environment", creating conditions for entrepreneurs, enterprises to start, innovate, and removing difficulties and problems in production and business.

Entrepreneurs and businesses need to keep promoting the achieved results, overcoming limitations; strengthening the connection between domestic and FDI enterprises to increase localization rates; exploiting well the potentials and strengths of the locality and enterprises to develop together. At the same time, it is requested to renovate management, promote restructuring, association and business cooperation, enhance the application of new and advanced technology sciences, improve management capacity, productivity, and quality, competitiveness, brand development, market expansion; actively participate in effective participation in regional and international economic integration.

Furthermore, businesses have to build a harmonious, stable and progressive labor relationship in enterprises, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of laborers; raising awareness and participating in environmental protection, occupational safety, fire and explosion prevention, ensuring food hygiene and safety,... actively participating in local social welfare activities, contributing to sustainable development of the province.

The Provincial Party Committee Secretary believed that, with the new political determination of all levels and sectors, the co-operation of the business community, and people in the province, Bac Ninh would continue to become an attractive, friendly and efficient investment destination for domestic and foreign investors.
