GRDP of Tien Du district increases by 11.4%
(BNP) – In 2018, Tien Du district continues to achieve positive results in the socio-economic development with many indicators reaching and exceeding its objectives.
The industrial production value in the district increased much higher than in 2017.
Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of the district increased by 11.4%. In particular, industry - capital construction saw an increase of 11.7%; trade - service climbed by 11.9%. Crop value is estimated at 117 million VND/ha, up VND 10 million compared to 2017. The value of industrial production - local handicraft industry is estimated at VND 12,462 billion, increasing by 9.8% compared to 2017. The state budget revenue is estimated at VND 1.7 trillion, up 27.8% over the same period last year.
A wide range of sectors such as land, natural resources, and environmental management, and education, health care, culture, social welfare has been strengthened and interested. Facilities of schools in the area are increasingly invested. So far, 51 out of 52 schools have been recognized as national standard schools. Social welfare policies are effectively implemented. Local military defense, political security, and social order and safety are ensured.
In 2019, Tien Du district will mobilize resources and advantages to ensure socio-economic growth along with sustainable development, ensuring social security, improving the living standard of people. In particular, Tien Du will give an effort to increase GRDP from 11% to 11.5%, reach VND 1.616 billion in term of state budget revenue, maintain the rate of poor households below 2% and create new jobs for from 3,500 to 4,000 laborers, etc.
