Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh dialogues with farm owners

Attending the dialogue were Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of departments, unions, districts, town, city and nearly 300 typical farms owners in the province.

According to the statistics of the Provincial Association of Agriculture and Rural Development, there are currently 2,846 farms (69 ones have been granted Farm Business Certificate) in the province, creating stable jobs for more than 6,500 employees. The total investment capital of farms is over VND 1,927 billion (VND1.37 billion on average per farm).

At the dialogue, farm owners expressed the gratitude to the provincial leaders for the attention to the development of agriculture, farmers and rural areas in general, and the farm economy in particular with lots of preferential policies. At the same time, the farm owners suggested that the province needs to have more preferential policies in the accumulation of land, issuance of certificate of land use right; to create conditions for farmers to borrow capital, invest long-term production; to support hi-tech application, especially in the production and preservation of plant and animal breeds; to organize training sessions in scientific and technical transfer, and to issue certificates of safe agricultural products,...

In the spirit of openness, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh highly appreciated the enthusiasm and responsibility of the owners of farms at the conference. The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee said that for the past years, along with the development of industrial production, Bac Ninh has always paid attention to the development of agriculture, farmers and rural areas, including many policies to support and encourage development of farm economy in the direction of high-tech application, bringing positive effects.

The Chairman assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in coordination with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to review all the land areas being used by the farms in the province. For long-term and stable land areas, the relevant departments take responsibility to promptly guide and carry out the procedures to issue the certificate of land use right, facilitating the farm owners for the stable investment and production.

Regarding the propaganda of agricultural support policies of the province; agricultural product branding; support for livestock wastewater treatment for large-scale livestock farms; organizing yearly dialogues with the owners of farms and so on, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned functional departments to organize the implementation to make farms increasingly developed.
