Provincial leaders attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tri Phuong II Pump Station Project
(BNP) - On March 6, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tri Phuong II Pump Station (in Tri Phuong commune, Tien Du district). This is the project of the Agricultural sector to celebrate the 20th Provincial Party Congress, the term of 2020 – 2025.
Provincial leaders conduct the ceremony to start the project.
Project of Tri Phuong Pump Station II is invested by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, including 3 categories: Irrigation and drainage pumping station 1 with combined flow of 11.8m3/s, drainage flow of 30m3/s; Level 2 pumping station with a flow of 9.93m3/s; System of irrigation, drainage and construction works for operation management. The total investment capital of the project is VND 660 billion (from central and provincial capital).
The project will be built in 3 years, expected to be completed and put into use before December 31, 2021. After completion, Tri Phuong II pumping station will ensure water supply for nearly 7,000ha of agricultural, industrial and urban land of Tien Du district and Tu Son town.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh affirmed Bac Ninh has always determined that agriculture is a potential area for the past years and has an important meaning in the development process of the province. Therefore, the province has been focusing resources on synchronous investment, modernization of agricultural infrastructure, especially irrigation systems.
Appreciating the importance of the Tri Phuong II pumping station for the irrigation and drainage task in Bac Duong area, Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh asked the investor to organize supervision and quality management, create favorable conditions and guide contractors to promptly solve difficulties during the construction process.
Contractors, designers, and supervisors must comply with technical regulations to implement the construction according to the schedule and ensure quality; regularly monitor, inspect and promptly solve problems during the construction process, especially ensuring labor safety and environmental sanitation, minimizing the impact of the construction site on the surrounding living environment.
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee also requested relevant departments and localities to closely coordinate and facilitate investors and contractors in the process of project implementation, especially capital allocation and the compensation and ground clearance to complete and put the project into operation according to the plan.
