The Provincial People's Committee announces the results of online public services deployment at level 3, level 4

(BNP) - In the afternoon of February 15th, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the results of implementing Decision No.887/QD-TTg dated July 18th, 2018 of the Prime Minister on deployment of online public services at level 3, level 4, 2018 – 2019 period.

Over the past years, activities to provide online public services have always been paid special attention by the provincial leaders. Since January 2017, the Provincial People's Committee has opened and put into use the online public service portal with the integrated electronic one-door system from provincial, district to commune levels at http://dvc.bacninh.gov.vn with 335 online public services at level 3, level 4 and integrating 59 online public services of 6 fields under the management of central ministries and branches.

Implementing Decision No.887/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, Bac Ninh province has reviewed and synthesized 484 online public services built to level 3, level 4 of provincial departments, district and commune levels, including 104 public services at level 4. Thereby, it increases the total number of online public services in the province to 819 services, exceeding 100 services compared to the set-out number of public services and over 10 months ahead of schedule.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh acknowledged and praised all levels and branches for their efforts, determination, and initiative to promote the progress of online public services deployment over the past time.

Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh stressed, in the context that Bac Ninh is focusing on building e-government and smart city, it is necessary to continue to develop strongly the online public service system, constantly improve the quality of services, considering people and businesses the center of the process of handling administrative procedures. Therefore, in the coming time, all levels, branches, and localities need to regularly review and update the amended administrative procedures, thereby updating the process of online public services in a timely manner. At the same time, it is needed to proactively upgrade the software, hardware systems to ensure smarter, faster, especially focusing on organizing, arranging public service systems, numbering codes, ensuring simplicity and convenience, tending to the concerns of business and people.

Furthermore, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believed that the strong implementation of online public services would create a breakthrough in administrative reform, promote building the electronic government and smart city, and build a tectonic government serving and better meeting the needs of people and businesses.
