(BNP) – In the first quarter of 2026, Bac Ninh Province maintained strong momentum in investment attraction, achieving several notable results and continuing to affirm its position as a leading investment destination in Vietnam.
The province currently ranks fourth nationwide in foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction, highlighting its favorable business environment and strong appeal to investors.
During the period, Bac Ninh licensed 138 new projects and approved capital increases for 89 existing projects, with total registered and adjusted investment capital reaching approximately USD 5.2 billion. Of these, 56 were domestic projects and 81 were FDI projects, with newly registered capital totaling over VND 100.7 trillion and USD 358.36 million, respectively. Additional capital was approved for 17 domestic projects and 74 FDI projects, amounting to VND 2.46 trillion and USD 785.03 million. The province also recorded 19 capital contribution and share acquisition transactions worth USD 26.03 million.
Industrial infrastructure continued to expand, with four new industrial parks established since the beginning of the year, bringing the total to 39 parks covering approximately 11,317 hectares. The occupancy rate reached 53.9%.
Meanwhile, business registration activity remained vibrant. In March alone, 455 new enterprises were established. Since the beginning of the year, the province has registered 1,881 new enterprises with total capital of over VND 53.3 trillion.
