Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang receives Vice President of the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC)’s Central Committee
(BNP) – On June 7, a delegation led by Vice President of the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC)’s Central Committee Chanpheng Sutthivong visited and worked in Bac Ninh province. Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang received and worked with the delegation.

At the meeting, Chairwoman Giang briefly introduced the province's outstanding achievements in socio-economic development over the years, with many indicators ranking among the top in the country.
Bac Ninh is a province with a lengthy history, with distinct beliefs and religions, the most important of which are Buddhism and Catholicism. Bac Ninh is considered the country's Buddhist heartland, having several huge and historic temples such as Dau Pagoda, But Thap Pagoda, Phat Tich Pagoda, and others. The province's believe and religious status has been steady over the years, and the right to freedom of religious belief is honored and safeguarded.
Shae also said that Bac Ninh and Hua Phan provinces have done practical effort in recent years to develop the history of solidarity and friendship between the two countries and two localities.
Giang expressed her hope that, while in Vietnam, the Vice Chairman Chanpheng Sutthivong would join hands to foster Vietnam-Laos friendship and serve as a bridge between Bac Ninh and Hua Phan provinces are growing steadily in various fields.
For his part, Mr. Chanpheng Sutthivong congratulated and commended Bac Ninh province on its efforts and successes in all domains. He also praised Bac Ninh province's attention and support for Hua Phan province.
He hoped that the friendship between the two countries, as well as the provinces of Bac Ninh and Hua Phan, would be strengthened further in the future.
Immediately after the meeting and working, the delegation visited Phat Tich pagoda (Tien Du district).
