Donating Dang Thuy Tram bookcase to Kinh Bac Secondary School
(BNP) – The Veterans Liaison Department of the 272nd Regiment, 14th Army Corps of Bac Ninh, Lang Son, and Bac Giang provinces and the National Council of Vietnam’s Dang family and relevant units jointly held a ceremony to present the Dang Thuy Tram bookcase to Kinh Bac Secondary School in Bac Ninh city on August 26.

Participants attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Dang Vu Son, former Head of the Government Cipher Committee, Standing member of the National Council of Vietnam’s Dang family; Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen The Son; leader of Bac Ninh city; the Veterans Liaison Department of the 272nd Regiment; representative from the Martyr's family - Doctor Dang Thuy Tram with teachers, parents and students in the school.
The Dang Thuy Tram bookcase project was established by the National Council of Vietnam’s Dang family, the Vietnam Urban and Environment Magazine, the "Soldier's Heart" Organization, the "Forever 20 Years Old" Club, and Vietnam Women's Museum. The project seeks to construct 15 bookcases around the country in the two years 2023-2024, with each bookcase costing between VND 35 and 50 million. The first bookcase will be installed at Kinh Bac Secondary School in Bac Ninh city.

The Dang Thuy Tram bookcase, provided to Kinh Bac Secondary School by the Veterans Liaison Department of the 272nd Regiment, contains almost 600 books with 125 titles, including Dang Thuy Tram's diary and some good novels written by the poet Thanh Thao.

The contribution of the Dang Thuy Tram bookcase provides students with greater opportunity to access good books, particularly the books written about love for the homeland, heroic history pages, and national heroes; encourage and spread the reading movement and love of reading, as well as enhance knowledge for secondary school students around the country.
