Minister of Home Affairs visits and congratulates Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace on Christmas Day

(BNP) - Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan on December 23 visited and congratulated Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace on the occasion of Christmas 2020.

Joining the delegation were Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; leader of the Government Committee of Religious Affairs; Department of Home Affairs and Office of the Provincial People’s Committee.

At the meeting, Minister Le Vinh Tan briefed on the country’s socio-economic development in 2020 to the provincial leaders, the Bishop and Priests of Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace. In order to achieve that result, it is the unanimity and unanimity of the entire political system, the support of the entire people, especially the contribution of Catholics nationwide.

On the occasion of Christmas 2020, the Minister sent his best wish to bishops, priests, dignitaries and parishioners of Bac Ninh. At the same time, he urged them to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, patriotism, actively participate in economic development, improve living, and take part in social security activities… In the forth coming time, the catholic community focuses on propaganda and mobilization of parishioners to promote emulation movements to celebrate 13th National Congress of the Communist Party and the national election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Bac Ninh Diocese Bishop Hoang Van Dat affirmed that he would continue encouraging Catholic dignitaries and laypeople to live a "good life", strengthen solidarity and stick with local party committees, authorities and people to contribute to the province’s socio-economic development.
