National historical and cultural relic - Binh Ha temple

(BNP) - Binh Ha temple, Trang Ha ward, Tu Son city dated back to the Le dynasty (about the 17th century) and was renovated during the Nguyen dynasty. Over time and war, the temple was degraded. By 2012, the local authority and people made their contributions to restoring and rebuilding the spacious temple.

Binh Ha temple is built on an area of ​​2,900 m2, and a place to worship General Tam Ngo and his wife, the Queen, who contributed to helping the Trung sisters fight the enemy and defend the country. Currently, the temple includes the following items: Gate, Front Ceremonial Hall, Emperor’s Harem, Guest House and auxiliary works.


In front of the relic is a lake, creating a cool space.

The Front Ceremonial Hall consists of 5 compartments and 2 wings.


On the pillars and rooftop of the temple are embossed images of four sacred animals, clouds, and flowers, etc.


The Emperor’s Harem has 3 compartments, separated from the Great Communal Hall by an ironwood door.


The temple still preserves many artifacts from the Le - Nguyen dynasties such as: incense bowls, incense burners, ancestral tablets, a pair of vases, horizontal lacquered board, couplets, and so on.

In the relic grounds, there are also the tombs of General Tam Ngo and his wife, the Queen.


The area where secret documents of the Trang Ha Party Cell were hidden during the resistance war against the French (1945 - 1954).


On both sides are Guest Houses.


Large trees provide shade for the temple.

Binh Ha temple was recognized as a National historical and cultural relic under Decision No. 457-VH/QD dated March 25, 1991. The temple festival is also the communal house festival that is held on the 8th day of the third lunar month every year to commemorate the ancestors’ contributions to the people and the country.
