PPC signs MoU in logistics training with Netherlands enterprise

(BNP) - On November 30, the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with STC B.V. Netherlands and Tan Cang - STC Human Resource Development Limited Company in logistics training.

Mr. Kees van Baar, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Vietnam; Mr. Albert Bos, Director of STC B.V. Netherlands; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha, General Director of Tan Cang - STC Human Resource Development Limited Company attended the signing ceremony.

Bac Ninh province’s leader at the ceremony was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the PPC Nguyen Huong Giang.

At the ceremony, Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang introduced the province’s geographical location, advantages, potential and socio-economic development. She highlighted that transportation, warehousing and logistics services played an extremely important role in Bac Ninh province’s socio-economic development and contributed actively to the promotion of other economic sectors’ development. Currently, Bac Ninh province has licensed 24 projects operating in logistics, she added.

During the working visit to the Netherlands in May 2023, a delegation of Bac Ninh province visited and worked at STC Group. The delegation realized that STC and Bac Ninh province have lots of potential cooperation in logistics training, especially in the field of dry ports, in accordance with the provincial planning in logistics for the 2021-2023 period, vision to 2050.

Giang hoped that the Ambassador would support to advertise Bac Ninh province to the Netherlands’ enterprises and enhance investment promotion in the province’s industrial zones, thereby, contributing to the efficiency and success of the cooperation among 3 parties.

For his part, Mr. Kees van Baar expressed his impression of Bac Ninh province’s rapid development achievements which are proved by the presence of many large economic corporations. He believed that with the parties’ efforts, cooperation in logistics training would lead to expected achievements.

According to the signed MoU, the PPC, STC B.V Netherlands and Tan Cang - STC Human Resource Development Limited Company will cooperate in consulting, training, recruitment, internships and human resource development of Bac Ninh province’s port industry, logistics and supply chain management.
