Provincial leaders meet with Samsung Vietnam Complex

Participants at the meeting were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Nguyen Anh Tuan; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan.

For Samsung Vietnam Complex, General Director Choi Joo Ho, leaders of Samsung Vietnam Complex and representatives from Samsung Complex’s factories in Bac Ninh also attended the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that this year’s annual meeting before the traditional Tet of Vietnam and Korea contains many meanings. It also shares the joy with the General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex when he is awarded the Friendship Medal by the State of Vietnam, Tuan added.

Tuan also briefed on Bac Ninh province’s achievements in socio-economic development and affirmed that despite many difficulties in 2023, with the solidarity and overcoming difficulties together, the province and Samsung Vietnam achieved positive results. At the same time, he also informed about the provincial leaders’ working visit to Samsung Group in Korea in November 2023.

The Secretary expressed his joy when Samsung just launched a new product line applying artificial intelligence. He believed that the new product would attract the young’s attention, opening up great revenue prospects for Samsung in 2024, thereby, promoting production and exports to contribute to the province's growth.

Mr. Choi Joo Ho confirmed that during its production process, Samsung Complex has always received attention and facilitation from the provincial leaders, especially in the COVID-19 epidemic. It is expected that 2024 will still face many difficulties and challenges, but with the timely support of the provincial leaders, Samsung will overcome all difficulties and complete the yearly growth target of 15%, he stated.
