Que Vo district deploys its tasks in 2019
(BNP) - In the morning of January 5th, Que Vo district held a conference to review the works in 2018 and deploy the tasks of 2019.
The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee awards Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister and Emulation Flag of Provincial People’s Committee to collectives.
In 2018, under the leadership and guidance of the District’s Party Committee, and the efforts of the committees, authorities at all levels and the people, Que Vo district has exceeded the set goals and tasks. The economy continued to grow with the total GRDP reaching VND 7,830.2 billion, increasing by 11.1% compared to 2017. The economic structure shifted in the right direction, the industry - construction sector accounted for 60.6%, the service sector accounted for 29.6%, while the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector accounted for 9.8%. Industrial production value obtained over VND 33,656 billion, up 11.9%. Budget revenue reached more than VND 475 billion, up 20.8%. Que Vo district achieved 9 of 9 criteria of new rural development for district level, and completed the dossier and submitted to competent authorities for the recognition.
Health care, education, culture, information, and sports have made progress; administrative reform has many positive changes. National defense and security work continues to be strengthened, social security order is ensured.
In 2019, Que Vo district continues to take advantage of all sources, attract investment, fully exploit the potential of land and labor force, build solid infrastructure, creating positive changes in culture and society, improving people's living standard, promoting poverty reduction, focusing on administrative reform, and keeping stable political security, social order and safety... Que Vo will strive to fulfill the criteria of building the district to become a grade-4 urban center, creating a driving force for its development, making it into a city-district in 2022.
Addressing at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh acknowledged and warmly praised the efforts and results that Que Vo district's Party, authority and people achieved in the past year.
The Chairman asked Que Vo district, in 2019, to strictly implement the Conclusion of the Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the 10th meeting of the Provincial People's Council. In particular, the district needs to strictly manage investment activities in the area, implement the planning management, and improve the quality of urban infrastructure systems towards becoming a grade-4 urban center.
In addition, Que Vo district was ordered to continue to expand agricultural brands, strengthen the application of science and technology, and develop high-tech agriculture towards the production of safe, sustainable goods, and building one product one commune, well implement social security policies, promote administrative reforms, promote operational efficiency of the District Public Administration Center and the OSS at commune level.
