(BNP) – On the afternoon of June 11th, Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee works with Soosan Group (South Korea) to discuss investment plans in the province.

Established in 1984, Soosan Group is a leading manufacturer in the heavy industry sector, with strengths in mechanical engineering and manufacturing, including cranes, specialized vehicles, and construction machinery, as well as AI technology, home technology, smart chips, and power plant equipment. The group currently supplies products through more than 140 dealerships across over 70 countries.
In Bac Ninh, Soosan Group is implementing two key projects through Soosan Vietnam Automotive Co., Ltd. The first project, located in Hap Linh Industrial Cluster, has been in operation since June 13, 2006, on a land area of 49,900 square meters with a total investment of nearly VND 170 billion (approximately USD 8 million). The second project, located in Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park, received its initial investment registration certificate on April 20, 2026, covering 80,000 square meters with a total investment of VND 1 trillion (approximately USD 37.9 million). Both projects focus on the production and assembly of specialized vehicles, cranes, truck bodies, automobiles, trailers, lifting and loading equipment, and metal structures.

During the meeting, Mr. Kim Byunghyun expressed his sincere gratitude for the attention and support from the leaders of Bac Ninh province, and affirmed that the Group will make every effort to implement its investment plans and contribute to the overall development of the province in the coming time. In addition, the Group proposed that the province pay attention to and support the removal of obstacles in licensing procedures for the goal of expanding production and assembly and increasing the localization rate of new products in Vietnam.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Pham Hoang Son welcomed the delegation and emphasized that South Korea is currently the leading country in terms of investment capital in Bac Ninh. The province is focusing on completing a comprehensive infrastructure to create the best foundation for businesses.

Regarding the proposals of Soosan Group, the Chairman affirmed that the province will provide maximum support. The province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions regarding construction procedures, licensing, investment, and environmental protection, as well as preferential tax, customs, and import/export policies for businesses. It also requests that businesses contact the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board directly to promptly resolve any arising issues.
The Chairman expressed confidence in the project and affirmed that Bac Ninh province is committed to always supporting and resolving the difficulties of businesses as soon as possible. Furthermore, the province welcomes and is ready to support partners within the group's ecosystem to invest in the locality in the future.
