Peach blossoms and kumquats "take to Bac Ninh streets

(BNP) - A pot of apricot blooms, a branch of peach blossoms, or a kumquat tree are important for every family during Tet (Lunar New Year). The market for peach blossoms, kumquats, and ornamental plants is thus even more vivid and bustling, with only a dozen days until the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. The spirit of spring appears to have already invaded the streets, seeping into every stall, bringing with it the hope of a pleasant new year.

In the days coming up to Tet (Lunar New Year), pink peach blooms, light pink peach blossoms, and wild peach blossoms are all available for sale. Rows of peach blossom trees line the main streets in Bac Giang, Kinh Bac, Vo Cuong, and other wards, welcoming spring.





The branches of the "Dark Peach Blossom" are also popular and picked by many people because of their graceful shape, which represents energetic life, tenacity, and a desire for good things, making them appropriate for family areas.


Alongside the rows of peach blossoms displaying their vibrant colors, there are rows of ripe, golden kumquats, attracting passersby.



Kumquat trees are available in a broad range of forms, including natural shapes and those manufactured in pots, jars, and vases, with pricing to suit many people. Some trees are fashioned in unusual ways, such as horse figurines, gold coins, and more.

Many pots of pomelo and mandarin oranges, packed with fruit, are on show, oozing the brilliant colors of spring and symbolising good fortune and success in the coming year.


Yellow apricot blooms are a signature flower of Southern Vietnam, and they are now widely popular throughout the country. Yellow apricot flowers bloom lavishly on the first day of the Lunar New Year, representing prosperity and abundance for the family and bringing good fortune to the house.



The Lunar New Year of the Horse is fast approaching. Peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, kumquat trees... have filled the streets, carrying with them the excitement of welcoming a peaceful new year, full of joy and happiness.
