(BNP) – On October 6, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh worked with VSIP Bac Ninh Company Limited to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing the Company's projects.

Reporting at the meeting held this afternoon (October 6), the leader of VSIP Bac Ninh Company Limited said that the Company currently has 2 projects in Bac Ninh province, including: VSIP Bac Ninh I project (in Tu Son ward and Dai Dong commune) and VSIP Bac Ninh II project (in 3 communes of Yen Phong, Tam Giang, Van Mon).
Among which, The VSIP Bac Ninh I project has completed site clearance and has been allocated land and leased land by the Provincial People's Committee with an area of about 629 hectares. Of which, the industrial park is about 480 hectares; the urban and service area is about 148 hectares.

For the VSIP Bac Ninh II Project, the area is about 282.67 hectares. Up to now, the project has been decided by the competent authority to reclaim land and approve the compensation and support plan for an area of about 238.92 hectare. The Provincial People's Committee has leased land with an area of about 183.1 hectares.

The project is facing difficulties and obstacles in site clearance; handing over the construction site of the underground cable connecting to Victory Giant Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd.; building a dormitory (residence area) for Victory Giant Vietnam Company workers; adjusting the zoning plan of VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park to meet the requirements of raising clean water capacity and wastewater treatment of Victory Giant Vietnam Company...

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Pham Van Thinh suggested a number of contents and directly discussed and gave specific instructions to remove obstacles for the above projects.
Specifically, for difficulties related to the VSIP Bac Ninh I Project, the Department of Agriculture and Environment was assigned to urgently review, report on the determination of land prices and clarify financial obligations to investors.
For the VSIP Bac Ninh II Project, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Yen Phong commune to coordinate with the Department of Finance to survey rice prices in the area, as a basis for approving appropriate prices to support stabilizing people's lives when approving the compensation and site clearance plan.
The Vice Chairman also agreed in principle to allow VSIP Bac Ninh Company Limited to add industries to attract investment in industrial parks, trade and services.
