Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh works with enterprises and cooperatives on consumption situation of lychee in 2025 crop year

(BNP) - On August 1, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh worked with enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in Chu ward, Phuong Son ward, and Luc Ngan commune to assess the consumption situation of lychee in the 2025 crop.

At the meeting, representatives from local leaders, enterprises, cooperatives, and business households exchanged and shared good practices as well as pointed out difficulties and obstacles in the production and consumption of lychee. At the same time, they proposed a number of issues related to ensuring transparency in production and export markets for the product; promoting domestic consumption, especially focusing on online sales channels, e-commerce platforms; product segmentation, brand recognition, and product packaging.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh said that in the near future, Bac Ninh province plans to organize an exhibition fair to display and introduce processed agricultural products from localities, as well as machinery products used in agricultural processing combined with agricultural machinery and tools for production. The fair will be held in Chu ward so that people, businesses, and cooperatives in the area and neighboring areas can access, meet, exchange, and share experiences…

On the other hand, the Vice Chairman also listened, received and directly discussed and answered some opinions of the people. In particular, he emphasized that the province will study the establishment of a club or association of processing factories to regularly meet and exchange, thereby having plans and solutions for better lychee consumption in the coming time.
