On the full moon day of the first lunar month, Mau Ty 1948, Uncle Ho sublimated his emotions and composed the poem "Nguyen Tieu". In 2003, with the consent of the Central Committee for Cultural Ideology and the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism), the Vietnam Writers' Association has decided to take the full moon day of January every year as Vietnam Poetry Day.

The 22nd Vietnam Poetry Day in Bac Ninh province with the theme "Country Harmony," is divided into 3 chapters: Legends of the homeland; Sounds of the Quan Ho region; Spring desire with nearly 20 poems by nearly 20 authors inside and outside the province.

Besides, there were unique musical performances introducing the culture and people of the Kinh Bac homeland, the spring in the Quan Ho homeland, and the desire to develop the homeland and country. On the other hand, the program also involved an exchange between poetry clubs and poets.

The event aims to promote and introduce works of poetry and literary and artistic works exploited from poetry, contributing to promoting tourism and praising the province’s socio-economic achievements as reflected in poetry; encourage writers, artists, and the poetry-loving public to continue promoting the traditional cultural values of the homeland and the country, constantly creating valuable poetic works that meet the spiritual needs of the people.
