Delegation of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Lao PDR students visit in Bac Ninh

(BNP) - On July 3, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang received and worked with a delegation of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and students of Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Speaking at the meeting, Giang briefed on the economic, political, cultural and social situation of the province. She emphasized that Bac Ninh is an ancient land, rich in historical and revolutionary traditions, with a tradition of being fond of famous academics, home of many special festivals and Quan Ho folk songs - representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity... Bac Ninh has now become the center of electronics industry, high-tech industry with many indicators standing in the top of the country such as industrial production value; state budget revenue; foreign investment attraction; import-export turnover and so on.

Giang also said that Bac Ninh province has had friendly cooperative relations with a number of provinces and cities of Laos, especially the province supported Hua Phan province for infrastructure construction, socio-economic development and the field of education.

Bac Ninh would continue to maintain the relationship between Bac Ninh and Hua Phan provinces; actively implement specific cooperation and support contents under the Cooperation Agreement for the period of 2022 – 2025, contributing to strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Laos, Giang added.

Representative from the delegation thanked for the warm welcome of Bac Ninh provincial leaders. He expressed his impression with the socio-economic development of Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh province in particular. At the same time, he proposed that Bac Ninh province exchange some contents in the fields of industrial development, taking care of workers' lives; conservation and promotion of cultural values; experience in training and fostering political theory...

The delegation also offered incense at Do Temple; General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu memorial area (Tu Son city); worked with leaders of Que Vo 1 Industrial Park, visited a business and some historical sites and traditional craft villages in the province.
