(BNP) - The Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 597/QD-UBND approving the Bac Ninh Province's Data Strategy for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2035.
Accordingly, the goal by 2030 is for the Provincial Data Center to be invested in, built, completed, and operational, meeting 100% of national technical standards, ensuring safety, security, high reliability, and flexible scalability; the Provincial Data Integration and Sharing Platform (LGSP) to be completed, fully complying with national standards, and ensuring data interoperability between local systems and national and ministerial systems.
Furthermore, the data infrastructure is developing towards a modern, flexible, and open approach, ready to handle big data, applying artificial intelligence (AI) for analysis, forecasting, and decision support; coordinating with the National Data Center to build a model for database construction in Bac Ninh province; implementing scientific research and development projects in the field of data, supporting advanced and innovative data research projects...
In addition, by 2030, Bac Ninh province aims to develop data to serve digital government; digital data to serve socio-economic development; and ensure information security and cybersecurity, such as: 100% of the province's key economic sectors (industry, trade, agriculture, health, education, transportation, culture - tourism...) will possess fully digitized specialized databases, seamlessly connected to the province's integrated data platform; 100% of communes and wards have implemented comprehensive digital transformation in their management and operational activities based on data; 100% of shared and specialized databases of departments, agencies, and district and commune levels have implemented information security plans at appropriate levels and a 4-layer protection model...
By 2035, Bac Ninh aims to become a leading data and innovation center in the Red River Delta region, operating on a unified, secure, and comprehensively connected digital data platform. Data plays a strategic role as a key resource for Bac Ninh to assert its position as a high-tech industrial hub and a regional logistics center.
Based on this, Bac Ninh will focus on building and perfecting mechanisms and policies; developing data infrastructure; creating, developing, and managing data; developing data connectivity and sharing; and applying data to serve the digital government, digital economy, and digital society. Ensuring data security, information safety, and data confidentiality; training and developing human resources; research, cooperation in development, and measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of implementation.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Science and Technology to preside over and coordinate with other units to organize training and professional development courses on data development, management, governance, analysis, and data exploitation for officials and employees in charge of IT in the sector and localities; organize conferences, seminars, and promotional activities on digital data development. In addition, it is responsible for urging and compiling information from agencies and units on the data under its management, including data descriptions, data scope, data quality, managing agency, and conditions for accessing data online.
