(BNP) - The completion of 3 additional long-term lease buildings under the Van Trung social housing project in Nenh ward contributes to expanding the housing fund for workers and laborers, step by step perfecting the social welfare infrastructure to serve industrial development in Bac Ninh province. On the morning of June 13, Fugiang Co., Ltd. held the inauguration ceremony and put into long-term lease utilization 3 buildings A11, A13, and A15 under the Van Trung social housing project.

Attending the ceremony was Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh, along with leaders representing several provincial departments, boards, and sectors.
The commencement of long-term lease operations for the three buildings marked an important step forward in realizing the Party and State's guidelines on social housing development, contributing to improving the quality of life for laborers and perfecting the social welfare infrastructure to serve industrial development in Bac Ninh province.
The three buildings were constructed on an area of about 2.84 hectares, consisting of 18 above-ground floors, 1 semi-basement, and 1 technical attic floor. Following the completion of investment, construction, and official acceptance procedures in compliance with regulations, the structures were fully qualified for operation and utilization.
According to the developer, the three buildings had a total of 283 apartments operated under the long-term lease model. The area of each apartment ranged from 68-70 m2; the buildings featured common community rooms and personal reception areas, meeting commercial apartment standards.
In the immediate future, the apartments would serve the housing needs of workers belonging to legal entities of Foxconn Group currently operating in Bac Ninh province. The apartments were comprehensively invested with technical infrastructure, fire prevention and fighting systems, security, landscaping, and essential utilities, creating a safe and convenient living environment for workers.
This was considered one of the appropriate rental social housing models for the specific industrial development characteristics of Bac Ninh province, which attracted hundreds of thousands of workers from both inside and outside the province to work.

At the ceremony, the leadership of Fugiang Co., Ltd. stated that developing social housing, especially long-term rental social housing, was a highly practical policy for localities experiencing high rates of industrialization.

He stated that, implementing Notice No. 64-TB/VPTW dated May 22, 2026, of the Central Party Office on the Conclusions of General Secretary and President To Lam, and Notice No. 286/TB-VPCP dated June 4, 2026, of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Fugiang Co., Ltd. to hold the inauguration ceremony for 3 social housing buildings under the Van Trung social housing project to serve rental demands in industrial parks.

The event was not only a source of joy for the developer and the workers about to benefit from the project but also a concrete result in implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies on social housing development. It contributed to the realization of the Scheme to invest in building at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income earners and industrial park workers during the 2021 - 2030 period under the Government's direction.
The completion and utilization of the 3 buildings carried particularly important meaning, contributing to expanding the rental social housing fund in the province and meeting the accommodation needs of domestic and foreign laborers working in industrial parks.
Particularly, the project bore deep socio-political significance as it directly followed and materialized the core guiding perspectives of General Secretary To Lam regarding the strong development of the long-term rental housing model.
In the spirit of the General Secretary's guidance, developing rental housing was not merely a social welfare solution but must be identified as a core pillar in the current and future housing development policy of the country. This was a powerful, fundamental shift in mindset and approach, moving from focusing on supporting citizens to own housing to centering on ensuring citizens' rights to lawful, safe, and civilized accommodation.

The demand for housing, especially social housing with a safe and civilized living environment, was always an issue of special concern for the province. In the context of the current competition to attract high-quality investment flows, developing this segment brought long-term strategic values for the locality.
Developing long-term rental housing was a key solution to enhance the province's competitiveness. A civilized, stable, and reasonably priced rental housing ecosystem would serve as a powerful "magnet" helping Bac Ninh attract and retain young labor resources, engineers, and qualified experts to work and dedicate themselves long-term. This was precisely the decisive human resource to create a breakthrough for the province's high-tech industries.
This model significantly contributed to step by step bringing real estate back to its primary function as a means of production. On the local side, to realize this strategic vision, following this project, the province would drastically deploy many rental housing projects and was currently actively allocating land funds at convenient locations with synchronized infrastructure connectivity to prioritize the development of this product. For newly deployed social housing projects in the area, the province would resolutely require raising the rental housing ratio above the current minimum level of 20% to ensure long-term supply for society.
