(BNP) – On the morning of June 29, at Nam Son – Hạp Lĩnh Industrial Park, Goertek Vina Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Goertek Employee Accommodation and Public Service Complex. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son attended the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Phuong; Director of the Housing Management Department (Ministry of Construction) Hoang Anh Tuan; Mr. George, General Director of Goertek Vina Smart Technology Co., Ltd.; leaders of relevant departments and agencies of the province; representatives from Nam Son, Hap Linh and Tan Chi wards; and representatives of contractors and construction units.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. George emphasized that since establishing operations in Bac Ninh, Goertek has consistently regarded its employees as its most valuable asset. As the company's manufacturing operations continue to expand, so too has its workforce. The new accommodation complex reflects Goertek's long-term commitment to providing employees with a modern, comfortable, and secure living environment, enabling them to build stable careers and long-term ties with the company.

Located in Nam Son Ward, the project has a total floor area of approximately 130,000 square metres. It will feature an 11-storey residential building, comprising 1,328 accommodation units, capable of housing around 4,800 employees, engineers and experts. The development will also include a comprehensive range of supporting amenities, such as supermarkets, dining facilities, retail outlets and other essential services, contributing to a more complete industrial park ecosystem.
With a total investment of USD 100 million, the project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2028. Beyond meeting accommodation needs, it demonstrates Goertek's long-term confidence in Bac Ninh's investment environment and its continued commitment to supporting the province's socio-economic development.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman Pham Hoang Son reaffirmed Bac Ninh's ambition to become a centrally governed city and one of Vietnam's leading high-tech industrial hubs. Alongside industrial development, the province is placing strong emphasis on expanding social infrastructure and public services to create an attractive living and working environment for both domestic and international professionals.

The Chairman highly appreciated Goertek's significant contributions to industrial growth, exports and job creation in the province. He noted that the company's continued investment in employee accommodation and public services reflects its confidence in Bac Ninh's dynamic investment climate.
He reiterated the provincial government's commitment to maintaining a stable, transparent and predictable investment environment while further streamlining administrative procedures and proactively supporting investors in resolving difficulties. He also called on relevant authorities to work closely with the investor to ensure the project is implemented efficiently, stressing that initiatives benefiting development and fully compliant with the law should be facilitated proactively, without delay or unnecessary administrative obstacles.
The Chairman urged the investor and contractors to mobilize adequate resources, ensure construction quality, workplace safety, environmental protection and fire prevention compliance, and complete the project on schedule.
He expressed confidence that, with the determination of the investor and the close cooperation of local authorities, the Goertek Employee Accommodation and Public Service Complex will soon become a landmark development, enhancing workers' quality of life while further strengthening Bac Ninh's competitiveness as a premier destination for high-tech investment.
Following the ceremony, provincial leaders and company representatives officially performed construction of the project.
