Provincial Women's Union accompanies border women in Son La and Dien Bien provinces

The Provincial Women's Union visited and presented 3 livelihood models and 20 gifts to members and women in difficult circumstances in 7 communes and towns of Moc Chau district, Son La province, including communes: Dong Sang, Muong Sang, Hua Pang, Tan Lap, Chieng Hac, Moc Chau township, and Moc Chau Farm township, with a total value of nearly VND 40 million. These are all localities with high poverty rates, and the lives of most members and women are still difficult.

In Dien Bien province, the Provincial Women's Union visited and gave gifts to women in difficult circumstances in Muong Phang and Thanh Minh communes, Dien Bien Phu city. The Provincial Women's Union awarded 1 border shelter, 3 livelihood models, and 50 gifts to officials and members of poor women, disabled women, and disadvantaged women in the area with a total value of VND 120 million. These are two difficult areas of Dien Bien Phu City.

From 2021 up to now, the Provincial Women's Union has organized 8 visits and given gifts to poor women and children in difficult border communes of the provinces: Quang Tri, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Son La, Dien Bien, etc., with a total value of more than VND 1 billion.
