Responding to Fifth writing contest on protecting Party’s ideological foundation in 2025

Press agencies and journalists actively respond to the contest.

The contest was organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in coordination with the Central Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, the Central Theoretical Council, the Communist Magazine, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television, and the Vietnam Journalists Association. Therefore, it aims to continue affirming the important role of protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the context that the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people are “accelerating” and “reaching the finish line” to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and successfully organize Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The contest is open to Vietnamese people living in the country and abroad, and foreigners whose political works meet the criteria of the contest which are eligible to participate in (except for members of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, Secretariat and the Contest Jury). Authors/groups of authors participating in the contest must not violate the Press Law, Intellectual Property Law, Code of Conduct on Social Networks, Code of Ethics for Vietnamese Journalists, Code of Practice for Vietnamese Journalists on Social Networks and other provisions of law.

For individuals: Each author/group of authors can submit up to 05 entries, including: Up to 02 written works: 01 editorial article in the Magazine category (Printed Magazine or Electronic Magazine) and 01 editorial article in the Newspaper category (Printed Newspaper or Electronic Newspaper). Each entry includes a printed copy (A4 size, soft cover), a soft file (Microsoft Word format) and proof of publication (if any). Up to 03 multimedia works: 01 Radio category; 01 Television category and 01 Video clip category.

For the collective: Each District Party Committee, Town Party Committee, City Party Committee, Provincial Military Command Party Committee, Provincial Public Security Party Committee, Provincial Party Committee of Party agencies, Provincial People’s Committee Party Committee: Each unit submits a minimum of 15 works, a maximum of 30 works for all categories to participate in the Central-level competition. Nguyen Van Cu Political School, Bac Ninh Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Fatherland Front and provincial-level socio-political organizations: Each unit submits a minimum of 10 works, a maximum of 30 works for all categories to participate in the Central-level competition.

The Provincial Competition Steering Committee will receive applications and entries from the time of launching the Competition until July 5, 2025 (according to the postmark). The Central Competition Award Ceremony will be held at the end of October 2025.
