(BNP) - Implementing the Government's policy on administrative procedure reform, in the first six months of 2026, Bac Ninh province has implemented many comprehensive and decisive solutions to review, reduce, and simplify administrative procedures, contributing to building a modern, transparent administration that prioritizes citizens and businesses.
Departments and agencies continue to comprehensively review the process, required documents, processing time, and conditions for carrying out procedures according to Government resolutions, resolutely eliminating outdated regulations, reducing processing time and compliance costs for citizens and businesses.
Based on the Provincial People's Committee's plans for controlling administrative procedures and implementing the Program for reducing and simplifying administrative procedures in the 2025-2026 period, the Provincial Public Service Center advised the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to issue a Decision approving the plan for simplifying administrative procedures in 2026. At the same time, departments and agencies continue to comprehensively review the process, required documents, processing time, and conditions for implementing procedures according to government resolutions, resolutely eliminating outdated regulations, reducing processing time and compliance costs for citizens and businesses.
The review and simplification of administrative procedures is identified as a key task, creating a breakthrough in administrative reform. The province focuses on applying digital technology, effectively exploiting shared data, and promoting decentralization, delegation of authority, and authorization in resolving administrative procedures. Simultaneously, research is being conducted to transfer some procedures to an internal administrative management mechanism, thereby reducing intermediate levels and improving the efficiency of work resolution.
Bac Ninh is also continuing to comprehensively innovate the one-stop shop and integrated one-stop shop mechanisms towards openness, transparency, standardization of processes, and implementation of a model for resolving administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries, creating maximum convenience for citizens and businesses when carrying out administrative procedures.
According to the plan, by June 30, 2026, the province aims to complete the plan to simplify administrative procedures, achieving the goal of reducing processing time and compliance costs by 50% compared to 2025. Simultaneously, the province will promote the digitization of documents and data reuse based on the principle of "providing information only once," striving for 100% of administrative procedure documents and results to be digitized. Administrative agencies will no longer require citizens and businesses to resubmit documents once the data has been connected and verified from national and specialized databases.
