Accordingly, the Provincial Party Committee unanimously agreed on the investment policy for the project to build a road directly connecting to Gia Binh International Airport using the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) method, Build-Transfer (BT) contract type, with payment made from land funds.
The investment project to construct a road directly connecting Gia Binh International Airport is a crucial and urgent political task that needs immediate implementation to ensure the connection of technical infrastructure according to the plan, effectively meet the management, exploitation, and operation of the project, and complete the project on schedule as directed by the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Government's Resolution, and the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee.
The Provincial Party Committee assigns the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee in organizing the implementation within its authority; ensuring strict efficiency, preventing waste and corruption, and complying with the law; and periodically reporting on the results as required.
The project will be implemented in the two communes of Gia Binh and Luong Tai with a total length of 6.48 km, divided into two sections. The first section is 2.14 km long, starting from the point connecting with the Gia Binh Airport - Hanoi Capital inter-provincial road and ending at the area adjacent to the airport project. The second section, approximately 4.34 km long, connects the airport area to the main traffic artery in Luong Tai commune.
The road is designed on a large scale, with an 80m wide roadbed, including 10 lanes for motorized vehicles in the middle and supporting lanes on both sides, with a design speed of 60 km/h. The total land area used is approximately 54.55 hectares. The total estimated investment is over VND 4,000 billion. According to the plan, the project will commence in Q1/2026 and be completed in Q4/2027.
