Secretary of Provincial Party Committee receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Kazakhstan to Vietnam
(BNP) – On October 16, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Head of Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies received and worked with Mr. Kanat Tumys, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Vietnam.

Participants in the reception were Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan welcomed the Ambassador for choosing Bac Ninh as the first locality to visit and work after taking office. He briefed on Bac Ninh’s outstanding achievements of socio-economic development in recent years and its cooperation situation with Kazakhstan. Tuan said that during his visit to Vietnam in August 2023, Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan visited 2 FDI enterprises in Bac Ninh province and worked with the provincial leaders. At the working session, two sides exchanged many contents to promote cooperation among localities with numerous similarities.

Tuan hoped that the Ambassador would pay attention and provide maximum support for Bac Ninh province to establish a cooperative relationship with Almaty city or Astana city. At the same time, the Ambassador would be a bridge to boost investment cooperation activities, trade promotion, Diplomatic corps, people's diplomacy, and cultural exchange… between Bac Ninh province and provinces and cities of Kazakhstan in upcoming time, thereby, contributing to the nurture of good traditional relationship between two nations, Tuan added.

Thanking the provincial leaders for their sincere welcome to the Delegation, Mr. Kanat Tumys expressed his impression on Bac Ninh’s outstanding socio-economic development with modern urban infrastructure, clean and beautiful environment, and long-standing cultural tradition. At the same time, he affirmed that he would cooperate with relevant agencies and localities to actively prepare conditions and contents to establish a cooperative relationship between one city of Kazakhstan and Bac Ninh province in June 2024 on the occasion of President Vo Van Thuong’s visit and work in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On this occasion, the Delegation of Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Vietnam visited Special National Relic Phat Tich pagoda (Phat Tich commune, Tien Du district).
