The activities to celebrate Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2026 are organized to call upon, encourage, and promote the participation of state agencies, social organizations, businesses, and consumers in related activities; gradually making Consumer Rights Day a driving force and an important highlight in socio-economic life, contributing to building a healthy business and consumption environment for the country.
The activities for Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2026 in Bac Ninh province with the theme “Information Security - Building Trust - Sustainable Consumption,” will be implemented from January 2026 to December 2026.
State management agencies, social organizations, and businesses need to proactively organize activities or integrate content into their professional and business operations to promote information security, green transformation towards sustainable consumption, and protect consumer rights.
Activities leading up to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2026 should be organized regularly and continuously, creating a foundation for activities during the peak month (March) in response to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day.
During the peak month, relevant agencies and units focus on disseminating information related to the theme of the 2026 Vietnam Consumer Rights Day and other consumer protection activities.
In communes and wards, based on the Plan, the 2026 campaign theme, and the actual situation, the People's Committees of communes and wards will develop detailed plans and allocate funds to organize activities in response to the 2026 Vietnam Consumer Rights Day in their localities, ensuring practicality and effectiveness.
Businesses, associations, and social organizations will organize promotional activities, product warranties, advice on safe and energy-saving consumption, publicize transparent complaint handling procedures, consumer care hotlines, and other activities appropriate to the requirements and actual situation of each business.
At the end of the peak month, in April and May 2026, state agencies, social organizations, businesses, and consumers need to build on the achievements of the peak month and continue to pay attention to, organize, and implement activities to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
