Inspecting the Van Ha Bridge Construction Project, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan listened to the investor's report on implementation progress, site clearance, and the construction status of main categories. The project had a total investment of nearly 420 billion VND from the provincial budget, deployed in the 2025 - 2027 period.
Up to then, the project had completed site clearance for about 245m/515m of the route length; in which, the Kinh Bac ward side had basically completed site clearance, while the Van Ha ward side was continuing to carry out compensation and support payments and complete procedures for the remaining households. On the construction site, the contractor had mobilized human resources and machinery to simultaneously deploy many items, completing bored piles and the M1 abutment platform, and currently constructing the abutment body and bored piles for bridge piers according to plan.
The contractor unit is accelerating the construction progress of the Van Ha bridge construction project connecting Van Ha ward with Kinh Bac ward.
However, the project implementation process still faced some difficulties due to site obstacles at some locations; the construction of items within the river beach and dike protection corridors must comply with flood prevention regulations, which significantly affected the implementation progress during the rainy season.
Regarding the Project on the connecting road from PR.292 through An Ha industrial park to the Northeast Ring Road, this was a transport route with a length of more than 15.3 km and a total investment of nearly 410 billion VND. After receiving the project from the former investor, the Bac Ninh Provincial No. 1 Transport and Agriculture Project Management Board focused on reviewing and resolving difficulties and obstacles to speed up the implementation progress.

According to reports, up to then, the project had cleared the site for about 10.6 km/14.98 km; many route sections had met the conditions for contractors to organize the construction of roadbeds, drainage culverts, and technical items. However, site clearance at some locations, especially in My Thai commune and some intersections, remained a bottleneck affecting the synchronous construction capability of the project. Besides, the lack of seamless sites along with difficulties in material sources in the previous period also impacted the implementation progress of bidding packages.
After conducting field inspections and hearing reports from agencies and units, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan acknowledged the efforts of the investor, localities, and contractors during project implementation. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that these were all important transport works of great significance in promoting infrastructure connectivity, expanding development space, and creating momentum for the socio-economic development of the province.

However, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee pointed out that the implementation progress of some contents was still slow; coordination and advisory work to handle difficulties and obstacles were at times not truly proactive or drastic.
For the investor and contractors, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the maximum mobilization of human resources and equipment, taking advantage of favorable weather to accelerate construction progress; building scientific construction plans to ensure quality, occupational safety, and environmental sanitation. At the same time, closely follow the site clearance progress to simultaneously organize the implementation of items, striving to achieve capital disbursement goals and project implementation progress according to the set plan.
Particularly for the Project on the connecting road from PR.292 through An Ha industrial park to the Northeast Ring Road, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed that site clearance over the past time had shown positive shifts after working sessions and directions from the province, yet it still fell short of requirements, especially with existing obstacles at some key locations. While the remaining implementation time was short and the workload was heavy, local authorities and relevant units would identify this as a central and urgent task to focus on directing and organizing more drastic implementation.
Overview of the working session.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested local authorities, the Land Fund Development Center, and the investor to urgently review and completely handle remaining cases; prioritize the immediate resolution of locations being fully qualified for approval of compensation and support plans to make payments to citizens and hand over the site to the construction unit. Locations having completed counting and meet approval conditions must urgently complete dossiers and pay compensation, avoiding delays caused by administrative procedures or intermediate steps.
Emphasizing the goal of basically completing site clearance in August 2026, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested communes to enhance propaganda and mobilization to create consensus among the People; proactively coordinate with relevant departments and sectors to timely resolve arising difficulties and obstacles. For contents beyond their authority, they must urgently report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and direction, avoiding impacts on the general progress of the project.
