(BNP) - In order to build a competitive digital technology business ecosystem, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Plan No. 247/KH-UBND on implementing the Project to support and develop digital technology businesses to reach global markets by 2030, with a vision to 2045 in Bac Ninh province.
Vifoco Import-Export Joint Stock Company (VIFOCO) is one of the 35 outstanding science and technology enterprises of the province.
The plan aims to concretize the objectives, tasks, and solutions of the Project in accordance with the practical conditions of the province; support the development of a competitive digital technology business workforce, gradually mastering digital technologies, products, services, and solutions, and being capable of participating in domestic, regional, and international markets. Simultaneously, create a favorable environment for digital technology businesses to develop "Make in Vietnam" products, participate in international supply chains and value chains linked to the province's electronics and semiconductor industry ecosystem; promote linkages between the State, universities, and businesses, forming an ecosystem to support innovation, creating conditions for digital technology businesses to develop and expand into international markets.
By 2030, Bac Ninh aims to have 3-5 digital technology businesses in the province achieving revenue from markets outside the province and international markets, gradually participating in supplying digital products and services to FDI enterprises, technology corporations, and global supply chains; and simultaneously forming a digital technology business ecosystem capable of providing digital products, services, and solutions to the domestic market and gradually expanding into international markets.
The province also aims to support the formation and development of 3-5 Make in Vietnam digital technology products, platforms, and solutions with commercialization potential or targeting international markets; build a network of experts, consultants, training facilities, businesses, and organizations supporting innovation; and train and cultivate a team of managers, engineers, international business personnel, legal professionals, and intellectual property experts to serve the development of digital technology enterprises.
By 2045, Bac Ninh strives to become one of the localities with a strong digital technology enterprise ecosystem, digital technology industry, electronics industry, semiconductor industry, and innovation; with digital technology enterprises capable of competing in regional and international markets, making a positive contribution to the goal of making Vietnam a developed digital technology industrial nation.
To achieve these goals, the Plan outlines 11 key tasks and solutions. Specifically, the recommendations focus on improving mechanisms and policies to support digital technology businesses; supporting research, development, testing, and standardization of digital technology products and services; removing difficulties and obstacles in the investment, production, and business process; supporting businesses in participating in innovation, digital transformation, trade promotion, and market development programs both domestically and internationally.
At the same time, it aims to strengthen connections between digital technology businesses and FDI enterprises, investment funds, financial institutions, and banks; support businesses in participating in domestic and international technology fairs, exhibitions, and forums; connect with diplomatic representative offices and foreign business associations to expand markets; promote human resource training; guide businesses in implementing policies on taxation, customs, and intellectual property; and enhance the dissemination of mechanisms and policies supporting the development of digital technology businesses.
