Bac Ninh invests in 19 power grid projects serving industrial and civil development

(BNP) – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh has just signed and issued Decision No. 928/QD-UBND approving the investment list of medium-voltage and low-voltage power grids for 2026 - 2027, with Bac Ninh Power Company as the investor. This project aims to meet the electricity demand for socio-economic development, improve power supply reliability and power quality, and reduce power loss in the province.

According to the Decision, the investment list includes 19 projects, including 5 projects to construct feeders and power supply lines for industrial parks and industrial clusters, and 14 projects to improve the operational capacity of medium-voltage and low-voltage grids and reduce power loss in many localities across the province. Bac Ninh Power Company is the investor of these projects. The implementation capital is sourced from commercial loans and basic depreciation capital of the Northern Power Corporation; the implementation schedule is mainly in the 2026 - 2027 period.

For the group of feeder and power supply projects for industrial parks and clusters, the province prioritizes investment in power supply works for: Thuan Thanh I industrial park (phase 2), Que Vo expanded industrial park, and industrial clusters: Ngoc Van, Nenh, Danh Thang, and Dong Son. These projects focus on newly constructing and renovating medium-voltage lines and underground cables, and installing switching equipment and remote control systems to enhance power supply capacity and meet local industrial development needs.

For the 14 projects to improve power grid operational capacity, the main items include newly constructing and renovating medium-voltage and low-voltage lines; constructing and upgrading the capacity of substations; step by step finalizing the distribution grid, reducing power loss, and improving the quality and reliability of power supply for urban areas, rural areas, residential areas, and production zones in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns Bac Ninh Power Company to be fully responsible for the accuracy and legality of the project profiles; and to organize the investment implementation in accordance with the planning and legal regulations, ensuring quality and progress.

The Department of Industry and Trade is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and urging the implementation process; the People's Committees of communes and wards where the projects are located shall coordinate in site clearance, land allocation, land leasing, and related tasks, contributing to putting the works into operation and maximizing investment efficiency./.
