Bac Ninh province implements "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese Goods" campaign in 2026

(BNP) - The Steering Committee of the "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods" Campaign in Bac Ninh Province has just issued Plan No. 48/KH-BCĐ on the implementation of the campaign in 2026.

It encourages consumers to prioritize using Vietnamese goods, and businesses to prioritize using raw materials, fuels, and input factors that are products, goods, and services from Vietnam.

According to the Plan, the implementation of the campaign aims to contribute to arousing patriotism and national pride among Vietnamese consumers in using Vietnamese goods; promote production and business, ensure macroeconomic stability and social security; and contribute to achieving the set economic targets. Simultaneously, the plan aims to create unity and synchronization among member agencies of the Steering Committee from the provincial to the grassroots level to improve the quality and effectiveness of the campaign, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

The implementation of the campaign must be serious, practical, high-quality, and effective; closely following the leadership and guidance of Party committees at all levels, and the decisive involvement of agencies, departments, businesses, the community, the people, and the entire political system. It emphasizes the role and responsibility of agencies, organizations, and individuals who are members of the Steering Committee in directing, guiding, inspecting, and evaluating the implementation of the campaign, promptly providing information, making proposals, and reporting on the situation and results as prescribed.

To achieve the above objectives, the plan outlines key tasks and implementation solutions. These include strengthening and promoting the dissemination of information about the campaign; Conduct extensive propaganda at all levels, sectors, and among all strata of the Vietnamese people, the business community, and society as a whole to create a shift in awareness and action in implementing the campaign; encourage consumers to prioritize using Vietnamese goods, and businesses to prioritize using raw materials, fuels, and input factors that are Vietnamese products, goods, and services.

Review policies supporting businesses and producers; support businesses and production and trading establishments to participate in high-quality goods and services production chains; promote digital transformation, apply science and technology, and innovate in management, production, distribution, and expand product consumption markets. Promote, introduce, and distribute Vietnamese products; strengthen the application of information technology and digital transformation in trade promotion; leverage the role of socio-political organizations and mass associations in promoting and introducing products; promote the development of e-commerce and modern trade channels; Continue developing OCOP products in a way that enhances quality, value, and expands the market.

In addition, organize events to honor, commend, and reward businesses and organizations whose products, goods, and services are trusted by Vietnamese consumers; businesses that innovate and apply new technologies in production, business, and distribution. Strengthen market inspection and control activities; strictly handle acts of commercial fraud, production and trading of counterfeit, imitation, substandard, and smuggled goods; strengthen supervision of the implementation of policies supporting businesses and developing the Vietnamese goods market. Simultaneously, consolidate the organization and improve the quality of operation of the Steering Committee for the Campaign at all levels; continue to direct the consolidation of the Steering Committee at the commune and ward levels in accordance with the two-tiered local government model./.
