(BNP) - On the afternoon of June 16th, at the Gia Binh Commune Political Center, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee organized a gift-giving ceremony for poor and near-poor households in Gia Binh commune that are subject to relocation for the Gia Binh International Airport project.

Attending the program were: Mr. Tran Huy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and leaders of Gia Binh commune.
The provincial leaders presented gifts to the poor and near-poor households. Presenting gifts and encouraging the households, Deputy Secretary Tran Huy Phuong emphasized that the Gia Binh International Airport Project is a national strategic infrastructure project of significant importance to the development of the province and the country. He also acknowledged and thanked the people for their consensus, support, and contributions in the land clearance process for the project.
The Deputy Secretary affirmed that the province always prioritizes transparency in compensation, support, and resettlement, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people and helping households quickly stabilize their homes, livelihoods, and lives. The province will continue to pay attention to households in difficult circumstances, ensuring that no one is left behind during the project implementation.
He also requested that local authorities continue to closely monitor the situation, understand the concerns and aspirations of the people, promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles, and work alongside the people throughout the project implementation.
At the event, 17 poor and near-poor households slated for relocation received gifts worth 2 million VND each, along with an electric fan. On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Phuong and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Ha visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Tran Thi Luu in My Thon village, Gia Binh commune, a poor household living alone and facing particularly difficult circumstances.
