(BNP) - On the afternoon of June 16th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Phuong chaired a meeting with the delegation of women from Bac Ninh province attending the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union, 2026-2031 term.

According to the Provincial Women's Union, the Congress will take place from June 17-18, 2026 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) with nearly 1,000 delegates attending. The Bac Ninh provincial delegation consists of 19 members, representing more than 400,000 cadres, members, and women in the province. In preparation for the Congress, the Women's Union at all levels has implemented many propaganda activities, projects, and tasks to celebrate the event and prepared a presentation on improving the quality of the Women's Union's oversight work.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary Tran Huy Phuong acknowledged the outstanding achievements of the Women's Union at all levels in the emulation movements and campaigns over the past period. At the same time, he emphasized that the Congress is an important political event for all strata of women and the Women's Union organization in the new stage of national development.
Congratulating the delegates on being entrusted with attending the Congress, the Deputy hoped that the delegates would demonstrate a sense of responsibility, courage, and intelligence, actively participate in contributing opinions to the contents of the Congress; reflect the thoughts and aspirations of women in Bac Ninh, and fully absorb the spirit of the Congress Resolution to effectively implement the work of the Women's Union and the women's movement in the coming time.
