Chairman of Provincial People's Committee (PPC) receives and works with KunSan National University, Korea
In the afternoon of May 29th, 2017, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the PPC met and worked with the delegation of KunSan National University, Korea on training co-operation between Bac Ninh College of Industry and KunSan National University. Attending the meeting were representatives from Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and, Department of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Tu Quynh showed his pleasure to welcome the delegation to visit and learn about Bac Ninh and briefed on overview of outstanding achievements in socio-economic development of the province over the past years. For favorable geography and attractive incentives policies, Bac Ninh was one of the fast growing provinces with many indicators in the first rank of the country. Specifically, FDI attraction gained over 1,000 projects with total registered capital of over $15 billion. In particular, Korea had nearly 500 projects with a total investment of about $10 billion, the Chairman said.
Along with the economic development, Bac Ninh has been on top of the whole country in term of investing in facilities for education and training. Thank to long-standing culture, rich culture and academic tradition, Bac Ninh has always been on top of 10 provinces leading the educational movement and national examination’s results. Currently, there are many big universities located in the province such as: Institute of Technology - Logistics for Public Security, University of Sports and Physical Education... and the system of vocational schools. The province handles yearly about 30,000 employees for the whole economy, of which high-tech skilled workers account for a large percentage.
Based on the good relationship between Bac Ninh and Korea, Mr. Chairman of the PPC wished KunSan National University to continue to work effectively with Bac Ninh College of Industry, contributing high quality human resources to the province.
At the meeting, Prof. Pyo Seman, Director of Institute for International Relations, KunSan National University, thanked the provincial leaders for their warm welcome and gave a brief overview of KunSan National University, accordingly, it was founded in 1947 and became one of the oldest public universities in Korea with 7 affiliated colleges and 52 majors, provided high quality human resources to Korea and several countries every year.
Based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed with Bac Ninh College of Industry, Prof. Pyo Seman said that KunSan National University would continue the joint training programs, offer trasitional training for students of the province at the universities under the National University KunSan in the coming time. It was a high quality, well-trained human resource recruited by Korean companies after graduation.
For impression with the economic development, FDI attraction as well as long, rich history and culture of the province, the Professor desired to get the attention and support from the provincial leaders in the process of co-operation between KunSan National University and Bac Ninh College of Industry for strengthening the cooperation between Korea and Bac Ninh in the coming time.
Previously, the delegation visited Do Temple, SR Vietnam Company and had a meeting with Bac Ninh College of Industry too./.
