Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee receives Taiwanese business delegation
In the afternoon of October 12th, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) received Taiwanese business delegation visiting and exploring opportunities for investment cooperation in the province. Attending at the meeting were the leaders of PPC Office, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Finance, and Industrial Zones Authority.
Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh welcomed the Taiwan enterprises visiting and exploring opportunities for investment cooperation in the province, as well as introduced overview of geographical location, the socio-economic development, the cultural history of the province. For the favorable geopolitical, geo-economic location and long historical tradition, recently, Bac Ninh is one of the fast growing provinces with many indicators ranking in the top of the country.

Bac Ninh is in the economic development triangle of the North, on the border of Hanoi, nearby Noi Bai airport, run through by the National highways No.1, No. 18 and No. 38. For the incentive investment policy, Bac Ninh is one of the most attracting FDI provinces in the country. From the beginning of the year to August, 2017, Bac Ninh has attracted USD 2.7 billion. Up to now, the province has attracted over 1,000 FDI projects with total registered capital of over USD15.3 billion in accumulation. Regarding to enterprises investing in the province, nowadays, Bac Ninh implements many attractive investment policies, especially places a high priority on high technology environment- friendly projects, which use less labors and have great contribution to the state budget.
At the meeting, representative of Taiwanese Business Association in Bac Ninh appreciated the solemn reception, as well as expressed his deeply impression to the provincial achievements in socio- economic development over the last few years.
Through investment promotion activities, the provincial and department leaders always facilitates and helps Taiwanese enterprises investing in the province in many sectors to solve problems in their businesses, contributing to stabilizing production and business in the province. In the coming years, Taiwanese enterprises would like to continue receiving the care and support of the province in promoting investment and expanding the scale of production and business activities in the province./.
