Grand opening and handover ceremony of the multi-function hall, library at Dung Liet Primary School, Yen Phong district
In the morning of August 16th 2017, People's Committee of Yen Phong district in cooperation with Sam Sung Display Vietnam and KFHI Korea took place the grand opening and handover ceremony of multi-function hall, library at Dung Liet primary school, Dung Liet commune, Yen Phong district.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee (PPC) attended and cut the opening ribbon. Moreover, the ceremony had the presence of agencies’ leader including People's Committee of Yen Phong district, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Education and Training and Mr. Il Chin Sue - Vice Chairman of Sam Sung Display Vietnam Co. Ltd, Mr. Seo Kyung Suk, Vice Chairman of KFHI Korea; Mr. Park Sun Jong, Director of KFHI Vietnam.

The project of "Building multi-function hall, rest room and purchasing equipment for lab room, library" was started in May 2017 and approved by the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee with the total investment of nearly 2 billion VND, of which Samsung Display Vietnam through KFHI funded 1.598 billion VND and the district’s budget provided 335,765 million VND from counterpart fund.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Seo Kyung Suk, Vice Chairman of KFHI Korea thanked the Bac Ninh’s PPC and Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd for the supports to timely complete the project with high quality. He expected that the project would be well preserved and effectively used to provide students a better studying environment.
On behalf of the People's Committee of Yen Phong district, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman thanked the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments for the attention and facilitation, and acknowledged and appreciated the helps of Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd and KFHI for timely completion and operation of the hall.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Cuong also suggested teachers and students of Dung Liet Primary School to promote the traditions of Yen Phong district within rich revolutionary and traditional fondness for learning, and continue to implement the teaching and learning movement. For handed over the multi-function hall, rest room, lab room’s equipment and library, the school had to consciously manage, preserve and use to ensure the practical meaning and effect.

On this occasion, Samsung Display Vietnam also presented 7,000 school bags to students having good academic results and disadvantaged students in the province before starting the new school year.
