Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee receives and works with Japanese Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry
On February 16th, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provicial Party Committee, Head of the Provicial Delegation of National Assembly received and worked with Mr. Katase Hirofumi, Japanese Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry to discuss about the program of connection between Japanese investors and Bac Ninh as well as understanding Bac Ninh’s willingness in co-operation with Japan.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council and representatives of related Departments.
On behalf of the provicial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee warmly welcomed and congraduated Mr. Katase Hirofumi and all members of the delegation on the occasion of New Year, and then introduced briefly about the provincial economic – social situation as well as support and incentive policies for foreign investment in the province recently. Mr. Secretary also emphasized that Bac Ninh always facilitate investors and pledged to maximally support foreign investor, especially Japanese ones to have the most convenient business environment.
Secretary of Provincial Party Committee also appreciated the contributions of the Japanese partners in the province in recent years and hoped Mr. Deputy Miniter would be the bridge between Japanese investors and Bac Ninh in the field of high-tech industry, education, sanitation, food safety, fire fighting, etc. Especially, Mr. Secretary said that Bac Ninh was building the e-government and smart city, so we looked forward to receiving and transferring advanced science and technology as well as cooperation and cultural exchanges with the Japanese side.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Mr. Katase Hirofumi thanked the provincial leaders for the appointment and the incentives and support given to Japanes enterprises in recent years.
Mr. Katase Hirofumi appreciated the development potential as well as attractive incentives of Bac Ninh province in attracting Japanese investors in the near future. He confirmed that with the strength in supporting industries, Japanese firms would provide significant support for Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh in particular in this field, along with the support for the group and enterprises in the retail sector, convenience stores chain, which was preparing to invest in Vietnam.
Mr. Deputy Minister desired Bac Ninh provincial leaders instructed related agencies to further strengthen the promotion and construction of specific programs to help investors in easily accessing information and investment opportunities in the province.
In the field of education - training, e-government and smart cities building with a number of other areas, Mr. Deputy Minister affirmed AIC Joint Stock Company would introduce the Japanese firms which have strength in those fields to research opportunities for cooperation and assistance in Bac Ninh province in implemeting development goals in the coming period.
