To solemnly organize the anniversary of Bac Ninh’s 185 years of establishment and 20 years of re-establishment and receive First Class Independence Medal

Participation in the event were leaders of Party and Government: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc - a Politburo member, Prime Minister of the Government; Mr. Nong Duc Manh - former General Secretary of  Party Central Committee, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh - a Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee, Head of Central Commission for Organization, Mr. To Lam - Senior Lieutenant General, a Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, Full General Pham Van Tra - former a Politburo member, former Minister of Defense, Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh - member of the Party Central Committee, Vice-President; Mr. Do Ba Ty - a member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, and leaders of several ministries and central agencies. Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Party Central Committee, the former General Secretaries: Mr. Do Muoi and Mr. Le Kha Phieu, President Tran Dai Quang, Chairwoman of National Assembly Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Standing member of the Secretariat Mr. Dinh The Huynh, Nguyen Thien Nhan, a Politburo member, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Mr. Vo Van Thuong, a Politburo member and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department sent flowers to congratulate. Attending were leaders of neighboring Bac Giang Province and 23 provinces and cities, etc.

On the side of Bac Ninh province, there were Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien - member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provicial Party Committee, Head of the Provicial Delegation of National Assembly, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and the leaders and former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People’s Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of departments, provincial unions, districts, towns and cities ... and numerous classes of people within and outside the province.

Authorized by the President, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc awarded the First Class Independence Medal to Bac Ninh.

To welcome guests visiting Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac in the big occasion is the declaration of a special art program named "Reverberation of Quan ho region" pulsating through song named “Khach den choi nha”. In commemorative speech of Provicial Party Committee Secretary, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien stressed: Throughout any history  and the stage, the land and people of Bac Ninh also uphold the spirit of patriotism, tradition of unity, culture and revolution; take advantage of the potential and advantages of local, bravery, hardworking,  creativity in labor and production, contributing significantly to the cause of national liberation, building and defense of the Fatherland and promoting modernization of the country. 

At center stage, receiving ceremony of First Class Independence Medal, which is a prestigious award of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was held solemnly. That honor recognizes the efforts and achievements of the Party, the government and people of Bac Ninh province throughout 20 years. On behalf of the Party, the Government and the State, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had an important speech for praise and congratulation to the great achievements of the Party, the government and people of Bac Ninh province achieved in 20 years; on the basis of the advantages of locality and external vision, the Prime Minister stressed on the tasks that Bac Ninh should focus on in the near future. 

"Reverberation of Quan ho region" Art performance

Being staged spectacularly with sophisticated, artistic design and deftly made the chain of the historical journey with slices and put brilliant milestones put Bac Ninh into the context and situation of the country from time to time period. "Reverberation of Quan ho region" satisfied the expectations of the audience, even the most difficult ones, echoed from thousands of years of culture of region of “spiritual masterpiece," rich historical traditions, culture and revolution. The imprint of a region with traditional cultural and academic elite people was recreated, inherited from the cultural elite, always carried the desire to live, fight and build the country. It was honored by President Ho Chi Minh’s 18 visits. Scene of Party, government and people of Bac Ninh welcoming Uncle Ho’s visits affirmed that though Uncle had passed away, his images and advices remained forever as a source of encouragement, motivation for all officials and people in Bac Ninh in order to rise constantly in the Renovation period, strive to build Quan ho region increasingly prosperous and civilized as his desire during his lifetime.
Bac Ninh has always been in the integration process of the country, Bac Ninh has always seized opportunities, dealed with challenges to build a locality from average good level in the whole country to a city "like a dream, like a poetry" for knowing how to maximally exploit the available advantages and attract high-quality human resources. On the big stage of Kinh Bac Cultural Center square, those meaningful messages were conveyed to viewers not only by the index, but also energetic dance symbolized as strong development in the process of industrialization – modernization that has showed great expectations for a comprehensive development of the city in the future. By looking back to bygone, moving forward, and special great achievements and knowledge base originally started from long-standing academic tradition, we can fully trust in a better future of brighter Bac Ninh while becoming one of the most liveable cities in Vietnam.

Quan ho folk song singing performance in “Reverberation of Quan ho region”

The best highlight of the art performance with the theme of “Reverberation of Quan ho region” is probably the convergence of different types of folk art cultural heritage from all over the country right here - homeland of Quan ho. For the first time, the audience can enjoy the unique cultures of the nation. Bac Ninh people are proud of their Quan ho folk songs – Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity Vi Dam recalled the land, the people of Nghe Tinh, and  Hue, is known for its “Nha nhac of Hue court” Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, Don ca tai tu  recalled the Southern; Cutural Space of Gong culture in Tay Nguyen - Intangible Cultural Heritage of ethnic communities of Central Highlands... Hundreds of artists, actors from the great family of the Intangible Cultural Heritages brought their homeland identities to Bac Ninh on the great festival.

Ms. Le Thi Chuyen - a native woman of Thua Thien - Hue unceasingly applaused after each performance and shared: " my family has lived in the North for over 30 years. Today I can enjoy Hue folk song in Bac Ninh and no words can express how I feel now. This comprehensive art program gives me chance to see my homeland and see the brilliant achievements of your hometown Bac Ninh". 

The song Gia ban closed the art program “Reverberation of Quan ho region”. In the sweet echo of the "heritage party", many people would have regretted. Let's save the date to return this place in near future: Bac Ninh - a smart, dynamic, modern city but still holding the cultural identiy of thousands of years, etc./.
