Delegation of Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Viet Nam and Central Friendship Association of Viet Nam - Cambodia visits and works with Bac Ninh's leaders
In the afternoon of January 22nd 2017, Delegation of Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Vietnam led by Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong and Central Friendship Association of Vietnam – Cambodia led by Mr. Vu Mao – former Member of Party Central Committee, former Head of Committee for Foreign Relations of National Assembly, visited and worked with provincial leaders.
Receiving the Delegation were Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien – Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee (PPC), Head of Provincial Delegation of Members of National Assembly, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat – Permanent Deputy Secretary of PPC, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Deputy Secretary of PPC, Mr. Ha Sy Tiep – Chairman of Bac Ninh’s Father Land Front, Mr. Nguyen Tien Nhuong – Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hanh Chung – Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, and leaders of relevant agencies: PPC Office, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism and Department of Foreign Affairs.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien showed his happiness to welcome Ambassador’s family and the Delegation of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Vietnam and Central Friendship Association of Vietnam - Cambodia to Bac Ninh, then introduced an overview of socio-economic development of the province. Accordingly, Bac Ninh is located at the north gateway of Hanoi and focused many conditions for development of economic - society - infrastructure and attracting foreign investment. After 20 years of re-establishment, Bac Ninh has attracted 900 FDI projects with a total registered capital of about $13 billion. Untill now, Bac Ninh has had variety of achievements within the country's top such as scale of economy, industrial output value, export value, per capita income, etc.
He also stressed that Bac Ninh has many veterans and former experts who volunteered fighting for peace, independence of Kingdom of Cambodia. It has been an evidence for the long-standing and historic relationship of two countries. Mr. Secretary hoped that Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong would continue contribute to the relationship of two countries by promoting mutual co-operation on fields of economic - politics - society, including co-operation with Bac Ninh in the new office term in Vietnam. On the occasion of the beginning of Lunar New Year 2017, the Secretary also sincerely wished the Ambassador's family and Central Friendship Association of Vietnam - Cambodia well-being and success.
Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong gave flowers for Happy New Year to provincial leaders
Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong respectfully thanked the Secretary and the provincial leaders for warm welcome to the Delegation. Ambassador expressed his honor to meet the historic witnesses and review the period that Vietnamese soldiers volunteered for Cambodia. Ambassador was also excited happy to hear that some activities of Bac Ninh had the participation of veterans and former experts in Central Friendship Association of Vietnam - Cambodia. During his term, Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong hoped that Vietnam and Cambodia would co-operate closely and comprehensively, deploy more practical activities. Finally, on behalf of the Delegation, Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong also wished Mr. Secretary and the provincial leaders well-being and prosperity for the Lunar New Year Dinh Dau 2017./.
