Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) receives and works with Hanwha Techwin Co. Ltd (Korea)
In the afternoon of January 10th 2017, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of PPC received and worked with Mr. Lee Man Seob – CEO of Hanwha Techwin Co. Ltd who is deploying investment in Bac Ninh. Attending the meeting were leaders of PPC Office, Department of Foreign Affairs and Industrial Zones Authority.

At the meeting, Mr. Lee Man Seob expressed his gratitude to provincial leaders for warm welcome and then, introduced his company. Accordingly, the Hanwha Techwin is one member of Hanwha Group, which is one of 7 largest groups in Korea, specializes in manufacturing of surveillance camera (CCTV) and security device with 27 networks globally. The company plans to build factory in Que Vo Industrial Park with a total investment of 50 million USD, of which sub-total of the first period (2017-2019) is 30 million USD. For capacity of 2 million products per year, its operation will create jobs for about 1,500-2,000 employees, contributes to the economic development of Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh in particular.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Chairman showed his pleasure to receive the delegation and introduced an overview on the investment of Korean businesses in Bac Ninh. He said Bac Ninh had attracted largest investment from Korea in Vietnam and currently has had nearly 400 Korean enterprises with a registered capital of over 8 billion USD, contributing over 70% of industrial output value. About Hanwha Techwin Project, Chairman assigned Industrial Zones Authority in collaboration with the relevant agencies for solving problems related to infrastructure, labor, environment,… that aim to facilitate the Hanwha Techwin in official operation scheduled in January 2018./.
