Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) receives and works with Saemaul Globalization Foundation (Korea)
In the afternoon of February 20th 2017, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh, Vice Chairman of PPC received and worked with delegation of Saemaul Globalization Foundation (Korea) about supporting building new countryside in Bac Ninh. Attending the meeting were leaders of PPC Office, Department of Agriculture & Rural Development and Department of Foreign Affairs.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. An Deok Jong, Director of Foundation’s Management Board thanked the Chairman for his warm welcome and then briefed on the Foundations’s successes in the province in accelerating the application of high technology in agricultural production, enhancing living standard for local people. The Foundation had conducted surveys in Mo Dao Commune, Que Vo district, and has been finalizing a draft of supporting program to build new country side in the province in oder to sign an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PPC soon, he said.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh thanked Mr. An Deok Jong and Foundation for the interests and supports in building new countryside in Vietnam in general and in Bac Ninh in particular. Buidling new countryside is the major policy of the Party and the State, which has been implemented in Bac Ninh province, and has achieved outstanding results. Untill now, Tien Du district and Tu Son town were recognized as localities that completed criterias of National New Countryside Program, the Vice Chairman said.
In agreement with the policy of the Foundation in support Bac Ninh to build New Countryside, Mr. Vice Chairman asked the relevant departments and agencies to well prepare the contents and propose the approciate communes to implement signing the MOU between the Foundation’s Management Board and PPC soon.
On February 21st 2017, Saemaul Globalization Foundation had continuously field survey in Mo Dao commune and worked with Chairman of Que Vo district People's Committee.
