Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee receives and works with Golden Horse Corporation (Korea)
In the afternoon of March 3rd 2017, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) received and worked with Mr. Choi Hak Soo, CEO of Golden Horse Corporation (Korea) to invest in Bac Ninh. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee Office, Departments of Planning and Investment, Finance, Construction and Foreign Affairs.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh expressed his pleasure to know Golden Horse Corporation’s attention and investment in Bac Ninh. He also informed the delegation about Korean investment situation in Bac Ninh recently; particularly in the first 2 months of 2017, Bac Ninh has received 2 investment projects from Korea: Samsung Display’s project (2.5 billion USD) and Hanwha Techwin’s one (100 million USD).
To the project of building racecourse, Mr. Chairman shared that in February 2017, the Government had agreed in principle to build a racecourse in Thuan Thanh district. He also suggested Golden Horse Corporation cooperating closely with related Departments to prepare necessary conditions and procedures before submitting to get Ministries and then Prime Minister’s approval, according to regulations.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Choi Hak Soo said that Bac Ninh was the province attracting most Korean FDI in Vietnam and Korea was also the largest foreign investors of Bac Ninh. Therefore, he completely assured of the success of the project in the future. He believed that with the favorable geographic location on the trade routes of Hanoi, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh, the project would create a complex service center including medium-graded resorts and shopping centers. The Racecourse in Bac Ninh would be facilitated with the most modern equipments and environmentally friendly, contributing significantly to the development of services and tourism in Bac Ninh./.
