Delegation of Bac Ninh provincial leaders visits and works in Houaphanh province, Lao PDR
Responding to the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Laos diplomatic tie (September 5th 1962 - September 5th 2017) and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam - Laos Friendship and Cooperation Agreement (18/7/1977 - 18/7/2017) and the invitation of Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Houaphanh province, delegation of Bac Ninh provincial leaders led by Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee (PPC) visited and worked in Houaphanh province from July 13th 2017 to July 18th 2017.
Joining the delegation were Mr. Ha Sy Tiep, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Deputy Head of Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Members; Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuc, Director of Department of Foreign Affairs and Leaders of Provincial Party Committee, Office of Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Van Xay Pheng Xum Ma, Member of the Central Committee of Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Houaphanh province, received and worked with the delegation.

On behalf of the Party, the Government and the people of Houaphanh province, Mr. Van Xay Pheng Xum Ma, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Houaphanh province warmly welcomed and wished the best to Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation. Recognizing and highly appreciating the support and cooperation of Bac Ninh province in recent years, Governor of Houaphanh province expressed his wish that two provinces would continue to effectively implement the signed agreements and open new cooperative opportunities in all fields which aim to promote the socio-economic development of the two provinces in the coming time.
Acknowledgement of warm welcome of the Houaphanh to the delegation of Bac Ninh provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC affirmed that this official visit was very meaningful with the purpose of bringing the affection and solidarity of Bac Ninh’s Party Committee, Government and people to Houaphanh province. Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council had approved the Resolution on support Houaphanh to build a grand hall in the provincial administrative center at the fifth session, Mr. Quat said. Besides, he desired the Party, Government, people, army forces in Houaphanh province to constantly develop and achieve more successes in the future.
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Mr. Van Xay Pheng Xum Ma, Secretary of the Provincial Party of Houaphanh province, gave each other souvenirs to express their close and cooperative relationship between two provinces of Bac Ninh - Houaphanh.

In the afternoon of July 14th 2017, the delegation of Bac Ninh provincial leaders paid a visit to a number of Bac Ninh enterprises investing and producing in Houaphanh and cultural historical relics of the locality.
