To prepare fully the conditions for organizing Quan ho singing on boat to serve the people
It is the request of Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee (PPC), to Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism in co-ordination with relevant agencies to prepare the conditions for organizing Quan ho singing on boat at two twined lakes in front of buildings of Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial People’s Council on Saturday evenings weekly.

At the monthly meeting of the PPC held in the morning of July 20th 2017, Mr. Chairman informed that the province’s undertaking about organizing Quan ho singing on boat at the two twined lakes in front of the buildings of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee being posted on the mass media and social networks has been paid special attention and responsed by officials and people inside and outside the province.
Many opinions of people and tourists showed that it is a practical and effective way for expressing the "Heart and Mind" of the provincial leaders in introducing and promoting the typical beauty and culture of the homeland "Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac". However, some of them suggested that the organizers need to prepare fully, thoroughly and be sustained in order to satisfy the demands of Quan ho folk audiences.
The Chairman of the PPC assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to prepare fully conditions for organizing Quan ho singing on the boat, which aim to serve the people on every Saturday evening starting from August 2017. In particular, he also directed Quan ho Theater to build a specific performance plan, select singers, technical equipment to serve the people and tourists.
"Absolutely must not sing within lip-syncing, parody, receive money from audiences, and at the same time have to prepare fully orchestrate, sound, light, etc. in accordance with the requirements of an art program to serve the people and tourists", the Chairman emphasized.
The Chairman Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh directed the media agencies to promote the work of public relation to the people and tourists, contributing to introducing the land and people of Bac Ninh with the theme "Culture - Dynamic - Development". It is also one of the programs to preserve and promote the cultural heritage that had been committed by Bac Ninh province to UNESCO when Quan ho folksongs was honored as representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
Previously, according to the Document No.2104/ UBND-KGVX, the Chairman of the PPC agreed with proposal of Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism for organizing Quan ho singing on boat at the two twined lakes in front of the buildings of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee and the Provincial People's Council on every Saturday evening to serve the people starting from August 2017./.
